Announcing Project: Shinobi's Very First Timeskip!

A formerly impoverished state, the Land of Whirlpool has steadily boomed in wealth, size, and political power. This is by cause of the rise of Uzushiogakure, a hidden village established by the Murakami clan, and the new Daimyo, Kisuke Murakami, who assumed the position soon after the resignation of Tenma Daigo, the former Daimyo. It became public knowledge that the ‘Smoking Saint’ had been secretly funding and supporting the Land for over a decade, and officially assumed his title after retiring as a shinobi from Kirigakure. In lieu of his presence during his tenure as a shinobi, Saya Karatachi of the San Okami, an elite raised and groomed by him during his earlier years within the Land of Water, had been placed to ensure its growth. Once she had been placed to serve as the Daimyo of the country, its political and economical capital and influence has skyrocketed. Its protection is maintained and overseen secretly by Kisuke and Saya, as their military might slowly grew outside of the eyes of the major countries. Uzushiogakure, a small village established at its center, has been steadily growing under the watchful eyes of Kisuke and his subordinates.



While its growth is miraculously and its wealth is considerable, it does not possess the military might needed to contend with the major countries, as the country does not possess a tailed beast of its own. While Saya served as the village’s Head Jonin, it was well known within the lands that the Uzukage is in closed-door seclusion, cultivating his abilities. Despite this fact, the citizens and shinobi within the Land of Whirlpools and Uzushiogakure did not seem to mind this, and the general temperament of the land is positive.
