so i'm making the post with the thought process that in most naruto rp wipes, the numbers of players in clans decrease drastically to a point where there are only 1 or 2 people in them midwipe. In some cases, the clans just get dropped all together because people only make in them to abuse how strong and busted they are. you'd want clans that people want to play and DR into throughout the entire wipe, right? so let's take a look at some of these.
let me give you an example of the clans that will prob work and why.
kaguya, yuki, hozuki - all no brainers. solid clans from canon that people are super familiar with and will have no problem playing/driving rp with. each one of these clans are known in canon to be the gods of something - bones, ice, and suiton respectively.
now onto the 'eh' clans
Karatachi - suiton musical construct clan.okay so, i get it. we want custom clans and we want them now. the musical notes that scale 1:1 with handseals brings something unique and cool to the game. but in an attempt to give people seeking a suiton clan a reason to play them instead of the rightful suiton gods (hozuki), powerful jutsu were made and given to them. which would be ok, if these jutsu weren't actually just broken.
Suiton: Suijun - a C rank shield that scales and is capable of blocking both melee and deflecting "most" projectiles.
Suiton: Mizu no Buki
- C rank technique that lets them bypass the need for a blacksmith and make their own weapons.
Suiton: Suiryuben - B rank whip making jutsu that can travel 7x7, and the whips can redirect in mid-air twice, meaning you're not dodging them if you're on the same tier as the karatachi you're fighting.
Suiton: Mizu no Kemono
- B rank
5X5 GIANT WOLF that can fire streams of water that are 5x3 from its mouth up to 3 times. The equivalent of having a powerful summon. once again, people on the same level as this can't fight it.
Suiton: Suishoha - Yahiko's pillar jutsu that's normally a semi unique, except it can be controlled within a 9x9 range of the user with a whirpool in the aftermath.
And I'm not even gonna talk about the A-Rank.

non-suiton clan - maybe one from canon that people are familiar with to attract more clan.
Hoshigaki Clan - okay. we all know how the hoshigaki clan works, right. wipes can go on for years, and there will be a maximum of 2-3 hoshigakis in them total. They ALL want the same thing, generally - samehada and to abuse the bonus chakra reserves/vitality that hoshigaki get.
personally, i'd let 1 or 2 people app to be a hoshigaki, but remove it from the clan list. As it stands, its just ANOTHER suiton clan that's inferior to hozuki. hosting a wipe in kiri does not mean that you need half of the clans to be suiton!!1111
Kushaku Clan - When I heard that this clan was going to be a thing, I was hyped at first. fucking SPIDER people, dude. but now that i've had some time to think about it.. this really should not be a clan. it should remain a unique, or a scenario where, like the hoshigaki above, 1 or 2 people can app to be spider folks at the start of the wipe, like a rare clan, and follow this progression path. From a story standpoint, why not have a geneticist that's creating these hoshigaki and spider people and sending them out to see how they function? tying them to something like a world plot actually anchors the clan and gives people something to work with rather then just having them be mutants.
i'd cut this clan too, or just have the couple that are made me experiments from the jump.
momochi clan - what's the point? if you're going to have them in, make stealth a profession unique to them. Non-clans won't be able to compete at stealth. And it's not like.. being stealthy or a good assassin is a KKG, right? It's something anybody can do.
All in all..
i think that with the current clan lineup, kaguya, hozuki, and yuki are the only ones that will attract players consistently all wipe. the others aren't BAD, but they will more so attract players that want to make supper gimmicky/sniper builds and not people that will want to use their clan name to actually.. you know.. create and push rp. The Momochi Clan on MoS for example was a bunch of nonclans that just so happened to all want to be dope assassins IC. they didn't need bonuses for it, or perks.
Please consider replacing these clans with other ones from canon that will generate more rp. We don't need 3 suiton clans, for example. And a dojutsu clan would be baller.
also, im not trying to shit on any of the decisions you guys have made so far. you're doing great. i just think that maaaaaybe you should consider what the PB has to say about the clans here. you guys are doing great and ily
